A Delivery Log record displays information about a particular issue that was sent to a subscription recipient. These records are created automatically by the Subscription Fulfillment process. A user can review these records from a Subscription record's Delivery Log tab tab.

This tab stores any additional information related to the issue's delivery.

The distribution method for the issue (such as Hard Shipment, Fax, or Email). This field links to the Product Distribution Types service, which is described in the Aptify Product Setup and Administration Guide (see in About the Product Distribution Types Form).

Fulfillment

The Subscription Fulfillments record that created this delivery log.

Subscriber Company

If this is a company subscription, this field specifies the subscriber company.

If the subscription uses the Hard Shipment delivery type, the address fields specify the address to which the issue was mailed. By default, the system selects the person's default address or the person's Preferred Mailing Address if a default is not specified. See the Address Management Address Management topic in the Aptify Customer/Member Management Guide for See Managing Address Information for information on working with addresses in Aptify. 

Note

In Aptify web, the Bad Address option is always displayed on any form where the address control is displayed, no matter how the administrator has configured the bad address input properties. However, enabling or disabling the Bad Address option in this form does not effect the status of the address. This option is effective only when it is set on the Companies and Persons top-level entities. This is a known issue set to be resolved in a future release of Aptify. Contact Aptify Technical Support for updates.

Phone Number

The recipient's telephone number.

This number is accessible by selecting the Fax option from the telephone toolbar. If the subscription's delivery type is fax, then this field stores the fax number to which the issue was sent.

If the subscription's delivery type is email, then this field displays the address to which the issue was sent.

If this delivery log resulted in a complaint from the recipient (for example, if the issue was lost or damaged), select the the Complaint check box and clear the the Received check box to resend the issue as part of another subscription fulfillment.

 

Received

When selected, this field option specifies that the recipient successfully received the issue.
