After you download the Aptify Mobile for Members application, perform the following steps to install the application on a mobile device:

Indentifying the Aptify Server and Aptify User Account
Perform the following steps to identify the name of the Aptify server and a user name and password that is used to access the Aptify server:
- Browse to the location of the installation files and right‐click Setup.exe.
- Select Run as Administrator to launch the installation program.
- When prompted, enter login information for the database server, specifying an account with system administrator privileges (such as sa).
- If you are logging in as a trusted user based on Windows credentials, select Use Windows Integrated Security.
- If you are logging in as an untrusted user using SQL server security, select Specify a User Name and Password.
- Click OK to continue.
STEP 2 – Review Requirements
- Review the set of requirements to install Aptify Mobile for Members (AMM).

- If your environment does not meet one or more of the specified requirements, click Cancel to abort the installation or, click Next to continue.
STEP 3 – Select Installation Options
In this step, you choose which options you want to install.
- Note: The Server Components must be installed before installing the Mobile Web Services or Aptify Mobile for Members. If the Setup detects that the Server Components are installed, Install Server Components will be unchecked but enabled, allowing the user to reapply the Server updates, if necessary/desired. Both Install Mobile Web Services and Install Aptify Mobile for Members will be selected by default.
- These are selected by default because it is the expected scenario.
- It is also possible to only install the Server Components and no websites, or to install either the Services or front-end separately when configuring two separate web servers, one for the services and the other for the UI.

- Click Next to continue.
STEP 4 - Mobile Web Services Installation Details
In this step, specify the installation details for the Mobile Web Services (MWS).
- Specify the trusted user account that you want to use for Mobile Web Services in the MWS User field.
- Enter and confirm the MWS Password.
- Specify the Website Type.
- Note: This application only supports the http and https website binding types.
- Select or Specify the Website.
- The application pool by default is set to AptifySOA.
- This can be updated based on a more appropriate naming convention if desired or in a scenario with an existing installation (e.g. using AptifySOA as an App Pool and the user wants to deploy an additional App Pool.)
- Specify the Website Location where the MWS application should be installed on the web server in the Installation Folder.
- Select the Mobile Web Services Web.Config Info desired.
- By default the Application Cache is set to False. Enabling this feature caches the View results.
- The Security Token Expiry Minute is, by default, set to 60 minutes (It should not be less that 60 as per the set parameters)

- Click Next to continue.

STEP 5 - AMM Installation
In this step specify details for the Aptify Mobile for Members Application.
- Specify the Website Type.
- Note: This application only supports the http and https website binding types.
- Select or Specify the Website.
- Select the desired Application Pool.
- By default the first application pool in the list is selected.
- Enter the Application Title.
- Aptify recommends using the name of your Association to identify the application.
- Browse and Select your Association Logo.
- Enter the Service URL
- Generally, this is the website address for your Association.
- If you have selected Install Mobile Web Services and Install Aptify Mobile for Members during the Select Installation Options step, the Service URL will be automatically populated.Please check on this bullet, I am not sure I understand what this means. If the Service URL is automatically populated, how is the information determined?
- Enter the AMM News and Social Info, if desired.
- If you don't enter any information in this section, then by default the application installed shows Aptify News, Aptify Twitter feeds and Aptify Facebook information.

- Click Next to continue.

STEP 6 - About Us Configuration
In this step, specify the contact, association description and other information related to your organization.
- Enter the information about your Association in the About Us field.
- Provide Contact Info (address, phone, website, etc.) for your Association.
- Provide the Disclaimer Info for your organization.

- Click Next to continue.
STEP 7 - Run the Installation
This step provides information about the installation status and will display the information of the options selected for installation.
- Click Finish to begin the AMM installation

- After the successful installation the finalized setup details are displayed.
- Click OK when prompted that the installation is complete.
- Restart the IIS service and browse for the application to confirm that it loads properly.
