About the Website Field Type

A field that stores a website's URL includes an icon to the right of the text field. Clicking this icon opens the specified website in a Web browser window. In addition, You can also browse to the specified website by pressing the F4 key when the focus is on the Web address.

Note that the value specified in the field must be in a format recognized by a Web browser (such as http://www.website.com or www.website.com) to successfully open the window. If the field's contents are not in an acceptable format, a message box appears when you click the icon indicating that you must enter an acceptable value to use this feature.
