Indentifying the Aptify Server and Aptify User Account

1. Specify the trusted user account that you want to use for Mobile Web Services in the MWS User field.
2. Enter and confirm the MWS Password.

3. Specify the Website Type.

   This application only supports the http and https website binding types.

    

4. Select or Specify the Website.
5. The value of the Application Pool field is set to AptifySOA by default. 
   
   This field can be updated based on a more appropriate naming convention if desired or in a scenario with an existing installation (e.g., using AptifySOA as an App Pool and the user wants to deploy an additional App Pool.)
6. Specify the Website Location where the MWS application should be installed on the web server in the Installation Folder.
7. Select the Mobile Web Services Web.Config Info desired.
   1. The Use Application Cache field is set to False by default. Enabling this feature caches the View results.
   2. The Security Token Expiry Minute field is set to 60 minutes by default. The value should not be set for less than 60 as per the set parameters.
      
      
      
      
8. Click Next to continue. The Aptify Mobile for Members Installation Details screen is displayed.

Installing AMM

In this step specify details for the Aptify Mobile for Members Application.

1. Specify the Website Type.
   

    

   Note

   This application only supports the http and https website binding types.

2. Select or Specify the Website.
3. Select the desired Application Pool.
   
   By default the first application pool in the list is selected.
   
   
4. Enter the Application Title.
   
   Aptify recommends using the name of your Association to identify the application.
   
   
5. Browse and Select your Association Logo.
6. Enter the Service URL
7. Generally, this is the website address for your Association.
   • If you have selected Install Mobile Web Services and Install Aptify Mobile for Members during the Select Installation Options step, the Service URL will be automatically populated.
   • Enter the AMM News and Social Info, if desired. 
8. If you don't enter any information in this section, then by default the application installed shows Aptify News, Aptify Twitter feeds and Aptify Facebook information.
   
    
   
   
9. Click Next to continue.

Configuring About Us

...

In this step, specify the contact, association description and other information related to your organization.

1. Enter the information about your Association in the About Us field.
2. Provide Contact Info (address, phone, website, etc.) for your Association.
3. Provide the Disclaimer Info for your organization.
   
    
   
   
4. Click Next to continue.
