The Aptify Asynchronous Processor uses a Trusted Aptify user account to communicate with the database server. This account information is configured during the setup process. However, you can change the processor service's user account after installation, if necessary.
Follow these steps to change the user account that is used by the Aptify Asynchronous Processor:

  1. Open the Windows Services window by clicking Start >Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
  2. Double-click the Aptify Asynchronous Processor is in the list of Windows Services.Windows Services
  3. Click the Log On tab.
  4. Select the This account: radio button, if necessary. The Aptify Asynchronous Processor cannot use the Local System account to communicate with the database server.
  5. Enter the name of a Trusted Aptify user account in the This account field.
  6. Enter the Trusted Aptify user account's password in the Password and Confirm -password fields. Asynchronous Processor User Note: Remember to update the account password for the Aptify Asynchronous Processor each time you change this user's Windows password or the -Application Server will cease to function properly if the computer is ever restarted.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Right-click the Aptify Asynchronous Processor service in the list of services.
  9. Select Restart from the drop-down menu to restart the service.
