Application Ribbon Groups records store information about a particular group in a ribbon. See Defining Ribbon Groups for details.

Buttons Tab
This tab identifies the buttons within the group. A user can add, remove, or rearrange the buttons from this tab. See Defining Ribbon Group Buttons for more information.
General Tab
Name
The name of the Ribbon Group.
Display Name
The display name of the Ribbon Group. This value is displayed on the ribbon if a Display Name Culture String is not specified.
Display Name Culture String
If localizing the system for other cultures, this specifies the Culture String to use for this group's display name. See Working with Culture Strings for more information.
Entity Name
If the AutoGenerate Buttons option is selected, this field identifies the entity that the system will use to automatically generate the buttons for this group (New, Find, and any entity action wizard that does not require a view to run).
Small Image
This field is reserved for future use. No image appears for Ribbon Groups.
Large Image
This field is reserved for future use. No image appears for Ribbon Groups.
Preferred Tool Size
This field is reserved for future use. Aptify dynamically sizes the ribbon and buttons based on the space available.
AutoGenerate Buttons
This field indicates whether or not the buttons will be automatically generated for this group based on a specified entity. If cleared, a user defines the buttons on the Buttons tab.
Enable Group Button
Identifies if this group should include a group button, which is the handle that appears in the lower right corner of a ribbon group. When selected, the Group Button tab becomes enabled.
Group Button
A ribbon group's Group Button is the handle that appears in the lower right corner of a ribbon group. The fields for defining the Group Button are the same as other Application Ribbon Group Buttons. However, the following fields are not applicable to the Group Button: Preferred Size On Ribbon, Minimum Size On Ribbon, First In Group, Priority, Small Image, and Large Image.
