A user must have the necessary privileges to override a price on the order line. Administrators may place limits on how users override prices. An administrator may grant price override privileges on an organization-by-organization basis, on an employee-by-employee basis, or on a product-by-product basis.

  • By Organization: All users may be allowed to override prices for all products sold by the organization. Administrators configure this setting on an Organizations record's Organization tab. When a permission setting is checked, this permission applies to all employees associated with the organization. See the Configuring Order Entry Permissions for an -Organization's Employees section in the "Organization Tasks" chapter of the Aptify Organization Management Guide for more information.
  • By Employee: If price overrides are not allowed to all users, they may be permitted to specific employees for all products sold by the organization. Administrators configure this setting on the Details tab of the Employees records. See the Configuring Employee Order Entry Permissions section in the "Employee Tasks" chapter of the Aptify Organization Management Guide for more information.
  • By Product: If price overrides are not allowed for all products at the organization or employee level, they may be allowed to all users for specific products sold by the organization. Administrators configure this setting in the Products records on the Prices > -Settings tab. See the Additional Product Pricing Functions section in the "General Product Setup" chapter of the Aptify Product Setup and Administration Guide for more information.
