About the Sales Targets Form

This service tracks a target sales amount for a person, employee, company, or organization for a particular period of time. It can then later be updated with the actual sales amount and a written evaluation for tracking purposes.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Sales Targets record.

Comments Tab

The Comments tab stores additional information related to the Sales Targets record.

Evaluation Tab

This tab contains an HTML text field for storing evaluation information regarding the performance for this sales target.

General Tab

Start Date

The Start Date of the sales target. This field defaults to the current date for new records.

End Date (Required)

The End Date of the sales target.

Description

A description of the sales target.

Parent

If this record is part of larger sales target, specify the parent in this field. This field links to another record in the Sales Targets service.

Target Type (Required)

Specifies the type of sales target. This field links to the Sales Target Types service. See About the Sales Target Types Form.

Type

Select the type of person or entity to which this sales target applies. The options are Organization, Employee, Company, or Person.

Organization

This field specifies the organization to which the Sales Target applies when Type is set to Organization. This field links to the Organizations service.

Employee

This field specifies the employee to whom the Sales Target applies when Type is set to Employee. This field links to the Employees service.

Company

This field specifies the organization to which the Sales Target applies when Type is set to Company. This field links to the Companies service.

Person

This field specifies the person to whom the Sales Target applies when Type is set to Person. This field links to the Persons service.

Target Tab

Target Amount

The target amount for this sales target.

Actual Amount

The actual amount attained for this sales target.
