Understanding the Aptify Pricing Model
The purpose of this topic is to document the pricing model used by Aptify to determine the price for an individual or company order.
- Pricing model is based on the membership of:
- Bill To Person
- Bill To Company
- Bill To Person’s company (when BillTo Company is not provided in the order)
- Ship To Person, Ship To Company and Ship To Person’s company are not considered for price selection.
Â
The following table demonstrates the use of the pricing model to determine prices, using several scenarios.
Order Scenario Number | Bill To Person | BillTo Person has an Associated Company | Bill To Company | Prices Considered | Price selected |
1 (Company Order) | YES | YES | YES | Bill To Person’s price Bill To Company’s price | Lesser of the two considered prices |
2 (Individual Order) | YES | YES | NO | Bill To Person’s price Bill To Person’s associated company’s price | Lesser of the two considered prices |
3 (Individual Order) | YES | NO | NO | Bill To Person’s price | Bill To Person’s price |
4 (Company Order) | YES | NO | YES | Bill To Person’s price Bill To Company’s price | Lesser of the two considered prices |
5 (Company Order) | NO | NO | YES | Bill To Company’s price | Bill To Company’s price |
Note
In scenario number 2 (Individual Order), when the order has a membership product as one of the Order lines, the price for other order lines would be the lowest price between the prices applicable to Person’s current membership type and the membership type added in the order. The price applicable for Associated Company’s membership is not considered.
