Class Registrations record are generated automatically by the Aptify Order Entry system or by the Class Registration wizard to keep track of students who have registered for a class. See Managing the Class Registration Service for details.
Attachments Tab
Attach any documents relevant to this class registration on the Attachments tab.
Comments Tab
Enter any comments associated with this registration. The Class Registration wizard method's prerequisite check functionality automatically adds information to this tab concerning the registration process when a record is created.
General Tab
Class (Required)
The class for which the student is registering. See About the Classes Form for more information.
Student (Required)
Enter the name of the student who is registering for the class. This field links to the Persons service.
Status (Required)
The status of the registration. The options are Registered, Pending, In Progress, Withdrawal, Passed, or Failed.
Enrollment Type (Required)
The enrollment type for this registration. See About the Enrollment Types Form for more information.
Date Registered (Required)
Enter the date of the registration. The default is the current date.
Date Completed
When applicable, enter the date that the student completes the course.
Date Available
The date the class is available to the student. This is primarily for e-learning environments when content is made available to students for a specified period of time.
Date Expires
The date the class is no longer available to the student. This is primarily for e-learning environments when content is made available to students for a specified period of time. Note that if an organization specifies a Date Expires on the Class Registrations record, the class's availability dates (Date Available to Date Expires) appear below the Student Status on the Class page. If no Date Expires is specified, then no information concerning the availability dates appears.
Score (Required)
This field allows backwards compatibility with legacy systems. You can also use this record to record a student's overall grade for the class.
Percent Score (Required)
This field allows backwards compatibility with legacy systems. You can also use this record to record a student's overall grade for the class.
Order
This field displays the ID of the Order for the class registration. Depending on the method used, either the specified Order created this Class Registrations record or this Class Registrations record (via the Class Registration wizard) created the Order. See Managing the Class Registration Service on how to register students for classes.
Instructors Notes Tab
If the Instructor has any additional comments to add to this record, they can be entered here.
Part Status Tab
The Part Status tab lists all Course Parts records related to the Class Registrations record and can track the student's current progress. See About the Part Status Form.
Payment Tab
The Payment tab lists the payment information for the Class Registrations record. This is the payment information the Class Registration wizard method uses to pay for the order that it creates for the class registration. See Enrolling a Student with the Class Registration Wizard for more information.
Note that the Payments tab is disabled if the specified Class is linked to a product with a Product Type of Class (that is, a class that uses the Class Product Order Method).
Student Notes Tab
If a student can access class information over an e-Business website, any notes the student adds on-line are stored on this tab.
