The Aptify 5.0 InstallShield wizard can install multiple instances of Aptify on a single computer. If you want to install a second instance of Aptify on a test server that has multiple instances of SQL Server 2008 installed, follow these steps:

  1. Install the first instance of Aptify 5.0 following the steps in "Server Installation" on page 31.
  2. When finished with the installation of the first instance, re-run Setup.exe to launch the wizard again.
  • The wizard automatically detects that Aptify has previously been installed and displays the screen shown in Figure 4.6. Installing a Second Instance
  1. Select the Install a new instance of this application and click Next.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. See "Server Installation" on page 31 for information on the installation options.
