Follow these steps to create a list view in Aptify:

  1. Open the Service for which you want to create a view and locate the More Actions button.
  2. Select Create View from the drop-down menu.

  1. Complete the Name, Entity Base View, and Description, as desired.

Note: For View Type, while additional options may display, only List View is supported in this release.

  • Leaving the Entity Base View field blank creates a view using the entity's default base view.


  1. Review and update the Fields you want to include in the view.

    • The Fields that display by default are those that are included in the Default In View option for the service's Entities record.
    • To remove a field, highlight the field line and select Delete.
    • To add additional fields, scroll to the bottom to select a blank line, or choose an existing field to modify, click the name area on the field line and select a new field from the drop-down.

  1. Select Filters from the drop-down menu.

  1. Create and define Filters by specifying the Field Name, Operator, and Value.
    1. Service defaults to the Service in which the view is being created.
    2. Click the area below an existing line to create a new line/filter.
    3. Click the field area to activate the drop-down menu.
    4. Select a row to highlight a filter and click the Delete button.

  1. Select Sorting from the drop-down menu, to apply default preferences for sorting.

  1. Create and define Sorting by specifying a Field Name and Sort Order for any criteria you would like to sort.
    1. Default sorting will be random if no sorting preferences are specified.
    2. Click under Field name to activate the drop-down menu.
    3. Select a row to highlight a filter and click the Delete button.

  1. After adding your desired information, click OK to complete and launch your view.
