Committee Terms track specific terms and functions within a committee. For example, a committee may have a yearly term comprised of an elected group of representatives, such as a compensation committee whose membership rotates every year.

Top Area

Name (required)

Name of the committee term.

Committee (required)

This field displays the name of the committee associated with the term. If the Committee Terms record is created from the Committees record, this field automatically populates with that committee.

Director (required)

Name of the director of the new committee term. This field links to the Persons record.

Active Members Tab

The Active Members tab contains a view of all active members of the committee term. A member appears in this view according to the dates specified for the member's service on the committee term's Members tab.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Committee Terms record.

General Tab

Start Date

Start date of the committee term. For new records, the system automatically inserts the current date into this field.

End Date

End date of the committee term. The End Date cannot be before the Start Date.

Term Email

E-mail address for the committee term.

Goals

Specific goals for the committee term.

Accomplishments

Specific accomplishments of the committee term.

Summary

A summary of the committee term's activities.

Allow Duplicate Members

Select this option to allow the same person to be added as a term member multiple times.

Inactive Members Tab

The Inactive Members tab lists all members who are designated as inactive. These records are included on the tab based on the dates the members have been designated to serve on a committee term.

Members Tab

The Members tab lists all members of the committee term. Members are added to this tab using Committee Term Members records. See About the Committee Term Members Form for more information.

Meetings Tab

The Meetings tab lists all the meetings associated with the committee term. Meetings are added to this tab using the Committee Terms Meetings records. See About the Committee Term Meetings Form for more information.

Nominees Tab
