Adding Company Relationships

Like individuals, a company may have relationships with other companies. For example, they may be partners or competitors.

To list a related company in a Companies record:

  1. Open the Companies record.
  2. Click the Details tab.
  3. Click the Relationships sub-tab.
  4. Click the New icon to open a new Company Relationships record.
  5. Enter the related company in the Related Company field.
  6. Select a type of relationship from the Relationship Type drop-down list.
  7. Enter the relationship start and end dates, if appropriate.
  8. Enter any relevant comments in the Comments field.

    Company Relationships Record
  9. Click OK to save the information and close the record.
  10. Save the Companies record.
