Adding Company Relationships
Adding Company Relationships
Like individuals, a company may have relationships with other companies. For example, they may be partners or competitors.
To list a related company in a Companies record:
- Open the Companies record.
- Click the Details tab.
- Click the Relationships sub-tab.
- Click the New icon to open a new Company Relationships record.
- Enter the related company in the Related Company field.
- Select a type of relationship from the Relationship Type drop-down list.
- This field links to the Company Relationship Types service. See About the Company Relationship Types Form.
- This field links to the Company Relationship Types service. See About the Company Relationship Types Form.
- Enter the relationship start and end dates, if appropriate.
- Enter any relevant comments in the Comments field.
- Click OK to save the information and close the record.
- Save the Companies record.
