About Ship To Characteristics

Ship To Address/Phone: When a Ship To Person is specified, Aptify automatically adds that Person's default address (as specified by the person's Address Default Settings dialog) and phone number to the order. Note that if the person's Address Default Settings have not been configured, the system adds the person's preferred shipping address (as specified by the Pref Ship Addr field) to the order.
Sales Tax Rate: Depending on how your administrator has configured sales tax functionality in Aptify, the Order Entry system may determine an order's sales tax based on the Ship To information. See Managing the Sales Tax Infrastructure for information on taxation.
Other Pricing Characteristics: Aptify supports numerous options for determining a product's price, including Price Filer Rules, Pricing Rules, and Pricing Objects. Using these pricing options, an organization can define a product's price based on any characteristic of the Ship To person or company.
