Transferring Housing Information

After an organization has recorded housing reservations from guests, it sends this information to the participating hotels so they can enter the details into their reservation systems.

Likewise, after a hotel has confirmed a reservation, the hotel sends confirmation numbers back to the organization so that the organization's Housing Reservation Guests records can be updated with this information.

Aptify includes two reservation wizards that handle the transfer of information between an organization and participating hotels:

• The Housing Transfer wizard exports housing reservation details to a file that can be sent to a participating hotel.
• The Housing Import wizard imports a file from a participating hotel into Aptify.

These wizards are located on the Housing Transfers service's toolbar.
