Managing Membership Dues

A Membership product in Aptify is a subscription product, specified as a Dues product, that sets a Persons or Companies record’s Member Type at the time the product for the order ships. The steps to create a membership product are the same as for a subscription with additional steps to specify the membership information in the Subscription > Membership sub-tab by selecting the Dues product option, selecting the Member Type that will be applied to a person or company who orders the dues product, and selecting how the Member Start Date is determined for the dues product. 

Memberships, like subscriptions, generally have more complex revenue recognition methods than regular products and can have special pricing or calculation logic.
