A subscription’s revenue is recognized each time an issue is sent out, and a membership’s revenue is spread out over the membership period. Both products include additional functionality beyond a standard product.

Membership products, in addition to functioning like subscriptions in terms of how they are fulfilled and their revenue recognize, also update a person’s or company’s membership type when purchased through the Aptify Order Entry system.
