Managing Housing Block Rooms

Each Housing Block should contain one or more available rooms. While you can manually add rooms to a Housing Block from the Housing Block Rooms service or from a Housing Blocks record, Aptify recommends that you use the Housing Inventory Management dashboard.

By default, the dashboard reports the total number of rooms in a block (regardless of availability). You can also configure the dashboard to display the number of rooms that are available and the number that are reserved (by clicking the Filter Panel button and selecting the Extended View option). For more information on a block's rooms, double-click the number of rooms for a specific date to open the corresponding Housing Block Rooms record (see About the Housing Block Rooms Form for additional information).
