Known Issues with the Web Interface

Below is a list of known issues by version (not mentioned above). These issues will be resolved in future releases.

Known Issue in the Aptify web interfaceResolved in Release
Payment Information Cleared When Saving Quotation Orders using Standard or Reference Transactions: With Aptify 5.5.5 (this is not an issue with 5.5.4), when saving a quotation order with a credit card payment (standard or reference transaction), the payment information is cleared. Note that after closing and re-opening the order, the payment details are displayed.

SQL Field Level Security: Field Level Security is not implemented in the Aptify web interface, but is respected in the business layer.

Version 5.5.2
Context-Based Form Templates: Aptify web interface does not support context-based form templates. The form template with the highest rank is always displayed in the Aptify web interface. If you want to display a different form template in the Aptify web interface than Aptify Desktop, rank the Aptify web form template higher and add a filter based to the web interface form template on Application Context where ApplicationName exactly matches Aptify HTML5 Web.Version 5.5.3
Registering Multiple Persons For a Meeting and Sessions May Not Work as Expected: When registering multiple persons for the same meeting on the same order where the ship to party is also registered, if the Ship To/Bill To party Is the first order line, adding succeeding order lines may not be successful. To work around this issue, add all additional registrants and then the ship to party. That is, add the meeting and sessions, modify the registrant at the order line level, follow the same steps for additional registrant and then add the meeting and sessions one last time (registrant will automatically be ship to party).

Note Concerning Order Detail Changes: With version 5.5.3 in general, when changes on a taken order update the order total (for example, changing the Ship To party so that it no longer qualifies for a campaign discounts), the order total and prices change automatically. However, depending on the nature of the change, there may be situations where a message will display in the Aptify web interface prompting the user that other changes have occurred to the order and request that the user close and reopen the order to see the latest details. In this case, saving the order again ensures that the data seen in the order in the Aptify web interface matches the values in the data in the Aptify database.

If you need to override the price of an order line, we recommend that you perform this task using the Aptify Desktop client.

Resolved in 5.5.5

Drop-Down Lists May Not Displayed Updated Items: When a drop-down contains a list of records from a related service, any newly added records are not automatically displayed when new records are added to the related service. In this case, the form template in which the drop-down appears must be regenerated. Contact your administrator or see Understanding Entity Metadata Generation for more details on regenerating metadata.

Version 5.5.5
Folder List Pinning: In some instances, after unpinning, the folder list will not hide automatically and a user has to click somewhere outside of the folder list to make it disappear. In addition, sometimes even after clicking outside of the folder list, it does not hide as expected and may require the user to refresh the page.Version 5.5.2
SQL Server Users: The Aptify web interface does not support SQL Server users, only Windows Authentication users can connect the Aptify database through the Aptify web interface.Version 5.5.2
