Switching Dashboards

This topic describes how to switch between Dashboards, broken down by user interface:

• Web Interface
• Desktop Client

Web Interface

If multiple dashboards are available for the same application, the user may switch between dashboards by clicking the appropriate button at the top of the dashboard.

• In the example below, Customer, Shipping and Home correspond to the Customer Management, Shipping and Home dashboards for this user.

• The dashboard you selected appears on screen.
• Users can select from dashboards for all applications, including those not currently available in the Applications tab.
• If you do not have permission to access an application, an error message appears if you select its dashboard. 
• The web interface does not attempt to load the application for the selected dashboard.

Desktop Client

If multiple dashboards are available for the same application, the user may switch between dashboards from the Options context menu.

1. Click the Options... link in the upper-right hand corner of the default dashboard.
2. On the context menu, select Switch Dashboard. 
   
   • The menu lists all of the application's dashboards that are available to the user. 
     
     
     
     
3. Select the dashboard you want from the sub-menu. 
   
   • The dashboard you selected will appear on screen.
