Linking an Employees Record to a Persons Record

If an employee also has a Persons record in Aptify, it is a good practice to link the Employees record to the Persons record. These records must be linked if employees will order products for themselves or if they will serve on committees that are tracked in Aptify.

Follow these steps to link an Employees record with a Persons record:

1. Open the Employees record and click the Details tab.
2. Enter the name of the employee's Persons record in the Linked Persons field.
3. If the employee does not have an existing Persons record in Aptify, click the Linked Person hyperlink to open a new Persons record.
   
   
4. Save the record. The Employees record and Persons record are now linked.
