Each Booths record contains information about a single booth, and each booth is linked to a floorplan. Booths records can be created through the Booth Generator functionality or manually, if necessary. Once Booths records are created through automatic generation they may then be updated manually.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Booths record.

Comments Tab

The Comments tab contains any comments relevant to the Booths record.

General Tab

Name (required)

The name identifies the booth according to the organization's numbering or naming scheme.

Description

A description of the booth is contained in the Description field.

Floorplan (required)

The Floorplan field lists the name of the floorplan that contains the booth.

XCoord (read-only)

This field contains the X-coordinate for the center of the booth, as a distance from the edge of the Booth Generator design layout. This field is only applicable if the Booths record was created using the Booth Generator.

YCoord (read-only)

This field contains the Y-coordinate for the center of the booth, as a distance from the edge of the Booth Generator design layout. This field is only applicable if the Booths record was created using the Booth Generator.

Width

The width of the booth is based on the unit of measure specified in the Floorplans record.

Length

The length of the booth is based on the unit of measure specified in the Floorplans record.

# of Units (required)

Booth size is determined as the number of units.

Area (read-only)

The area of the booth when it was created using the Booth Generator. This field uses the unit of measure from the corresponding Floorplans record. This field is only applicable if the Booths record was created using the Booth Generator.

Booth Registrant Information Area

Maximum #

This field notes the maximum number of people who can register for the related conference meeting and link to this booth.

Complimentary

The Complimentary field holds the number of complimentary attendee registrations to be provided with the sale of the booth. This field is for tracking purposes only; it does not drive any additional system functionality by default.

Surcharge (required)

Type of surcharge that must be paid to purchase premium booth space is set in the Surcharge field. Select Flat Amount or Percent.

Surcharge Amt or Surcharge Pct

This field indicates the surcharge amount or percentage for a premium booth. The name of this field reflects the option chosen in the Surcharge field. For a Flat Amount surcharge, enter a dollar amount. For a Percent surcharge, enter a percentage (for example: 10%).

Merged (read-only)

The Merged option is selected automatically with a booth name if the booth has been combined into another booth.

Merged Into Booth (read-only)

If this booth has been combined with another booth, the Merged Into Booth field populates automatically with the name of the surviving booth.

Order Information Area

Occupied (read-only)

This option is automatically selected when a customer has registered for the booth. If the customer cancels the registration, the option is automatically cleared.

Linked Order (read-only)

The Linked Order field populates automatically with the ID of the Orders record created when a customer registers for this booth.

Linked Person (read-only)

When a customer registers for this booth, the customer name populates this field automatically.

Linked Company (read-only)

When a customer registers for this booth, the company that employs the customer populates this field automatically.

Linked Registrants Tab

The Linked Registrants tab lists the Persons records of all customers who have registered to occupy this booth during the expo. Persons records may not be manually linked. They have added automatically to this list when an order for the booth is made through the Order Entry process.

Merged Booths Tab

The Merged Booths tab lists any Booths records that have been merged with this booth. Booths can be combined using the Booth Combination wizard.
