Conflict Detection in the Web Interface

Aptify is built on a database which allows multiple users to have access to the same data. There may be times when multiple users attempt to access and edit the same record at the same time. This is referred to as a data conflict. To handle these conflict events, Aptify provides conflict detection. If two users have made changes to the same record since it was initially loaded, a dialog informs the user of the changes and prevents the user from saving. In Aptify version 5.5.1 and up, users are notified of conflicts by the web interface, but it does not provide the ability to overwrite any changes that may have taken place.
