Important Note Concerning MapPoint Features

Microsoft MapPoint includes many advanced features, such as generating a drive route for the items on the map and drawing lines and shapes. However, unless described elsewhere in this chapter, these features may not persist when you exit the map view.

For example, if you generate route information for a map, that information is available for the current session but is lost when you exit the map view.

If you need to use these advanced features, create an Excel Export file of the desired data in Aptify. Then, open Microsoft MapPoint and create a map directly within MapPoint, importing the file using this wizard. See the Microsoft MapPoint Help documentation for more information.
