Viewing and Editing Meeting Education Units
Once education units have been defined and a user created an order for a particular meeting, the order entry clerk can view and modify the associated education units that can be earned by the meeting's attendee by double-clicking in the gray area to the far left of a meeting order line to open its Order Lines record and selecting the Meetings > Education Units tab.
- If you modify the meeting's attendee in the Attendee field on the General tab of the Order Lines record, the available education units are automatically updated based on the attendee's primary job function.
- To modify the education units earned, simply open the appropriate Order Meeting Detail Education Units record modify the Education Units field as needed.
- Users can also add and delete education unit definitions from the Education Units tab's toolbar.
- Note that if there are Education Units records defined for a particular meeting without a Primary Function as well as an education unit defined with a Primary function, a meeting attendee can earn additional credits if their primary job function is the function specified in one of the Education Units records as shown in the figure that follows.
Once a meeting is closed and the status of a registrant is set to Attended, an Education Units record(s) is automatically created (through a process flow provided by Aptify) based on the settings of the associated Education Category and the information found on the Education Units tab of meeting's Order Lines form. When a meeting is created and ordered within the Aptify system, it is considered an internal meeting; the Source of the Education Units record is set to Internal and the meeting information is automatically populated in the appropriate fields based on the order and education category.
To view, approve or modify the education units earned by a meeting attendee, open the appropriate Education Units record from the Education Units service found under the Meeting Management or Education applications.
