About Message Runs
When a user has completed a bulk message configuration and pressed the Send Messages button on the Messaging form, the system automatically generates a Message Runs record and then prepares the necessary email message for the Message System (if the Message Run does not require approval first). Message Runs records store all the relevant information about the defined messages, including the message system, message source, message text (whether in HTML, plain text format, or both), message recipients, and so on. Message Runs records are created automatically by the system. They should not be created manually, and should only be updated by a system administrator, as necessary (for example, to approve a Message Run for transmission, as described in Requiring Approval to Send Messages ).
