Integrating with ePayment Providers

Aptify includes the ability to integrate with third-party electronic payment processing companies, such as PayPal, to provide real-time payment verification and authorization.

For example, when an order entry clerk accepts a credit card payment for an order, Aptify can communicate with PayPal during the order save process to determine if the credit card number provided is valid. If the number is valid, PayPal then provides an Authorization code. Later after the order ships, a user runs the ePayment Capture wizard, which changes the payment's status from Authorization to Capture and initiates the process to move funds to the organization's bank account.

This topic details the ePayment feature and its components. In addition, it discusses the requirements necessary to run ePayment. The electronic payment process flow is also described.
