About Multi-Entity Accounting

Aptify includes extensive support for organizations that conduct business as one organizational unit but are legally organized as separate entities. In many cases, organizations establish separate entities for fundraising purposes. Each entity must maintain a separate general ledger or use a separate general ledger (GL) code balancing segment within a single general ledger.

Aptify's Order Entry and Payment Processing functionality allows users to place orders for products offered by all entities within the organization in a seamless manner while automatically generating GL entries to properly account for the exchange of funds between the various entities.
