The Advertising Options record is used to associate the option product with the advertising module. When an Advertising Option record is associated with an Advertising Rate Card Rates record, it can be ordered through the Advertising Insertion Order.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Advertising Options record.

General Tab

Name (required)

The Name field displays the name of the option record. It is generally similar to the Products record name.

Product (required)

The Product field lists the option's corresponding product. The Product field links to the Products service.

Option Type

The Option Type field can be of two values, either Yes/No or Quantity.

• The Yes/No option type only allows the customer service representative to add any number of advertising options per order, but the quantity of each cannot be altered.
• The Quantity option type value allows the customer service representative to add any number of advertising options per order, but can also specify the number of each to be purchased.

Entity

Some advertising option products have additional forms that are associated with the product. For example, the blind box advertising option that ships with the Aptify Advertising module has its own service which stores contact information. By specifying the name of the service in the Entity field, the user is prompted to complete the form before adding the option to the insertion order.
