Managing Payment Types

The purpose of this topic is to provide information about the Payments Types service in Aptify which provides a method for organization transactions according to how the customers makes payment. For example, the Visa payment type ensures that all transactions paid for with a Visa credit card are handled in an appropriate, consistent fashion and that users can easily create views of this type of transaction. Several default payment types exist in the Aptify sample data. Administrators configure payment types to define the general ledger account to debit when a customer payment is processed.
