Removing User License Assignments
When an employee leaves the organization, you can free up his or her user licenses so they can be used by another employee.
To remove a user's license assignments and free up licenses, mark the user as Inactive within the User Administration wizard (see Disabling User Accounts for details); this automatically terminates the user's license assignment.
Alternatively, you can adjust an existing user's license assignments by modifying the License selections on Steps 3 and 4 of the User Administration wizard. For example, if you need to free up a license to the Education module, you can remove the assignment to an existing user and then it will be available to assign to another user within the User Administration wizard. Note that you can only remove an existing user's Client Access License by deactivating that user.
