This service stores the registered Address Verification Systems, such as MailersPlus/Melissa Data, Accumail, Quick Address (QAS), and SAP BusinessObjects Postalsoft that integrate with your Aptify installation.

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Address Verification Systems record.

Attributes Tab

The Attributes tab stores attributes specific to this Address Verification System. See About the Address Verification System Attributes Form.

Comments Tab

The Comments tab lists any comments relevant to the Address Verification Systems record.

Countries Tab

The Countries tab lists any Countries relevant to the Address Verification Systems record. This tab links to the Countries service. This feature is reserved for future use.

General Tab

Name

The name of the Address Verification Systems.

Description

A description of the Address Verification Systems.

Scope

The scope of the Address Verification System. Global is the only supported option at this time.

Rank

The Rank field is used to determine priorities if multiple systems exist that can verify addresses from the same country, with the lowest ranking system being used first.

The default values for this field are:

• Melissa Data - 3
• Accumail - 2
• Melissa Data Webservice - 1

Supports Real Time

This field indicates whether or not this system supports the Verify Address Against Postal Database button on Address Management toolbar to verify the currently displayed address.

Supports Batch

This field is reserved for future use.

This field is reserved for future use.

Object

The object in the Object Repository that contains the logic to integrate the address verification system with Aptify.

Class

The class within the object that provides the logic to integrate the address verification system with Aptify.

Assembly

The .NET assembly name of the object that contains the logic to integrate the address verification system with Aptify.

Viewer Object

The object in the Object Repository that contains the Address Verification user interface to display for this system (this overrides the default user interface). This field is reserved for future use.

Viewer Class

The class within the object that provides the Address Verification user interface to display for this system (this overrides the default user interface). This field is reserved for future use.

Viewer Assembly

The .NET assembly name of the object that provides the Address Verification user interface to display for this system (this overrides the default user interface). This field is reserved for future use.
