The Dashboard Components form defines dashboard components, such as Most Recently Used Records, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Calendar.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Dashboards Components record.

General Tab

Name

The Name field holds the name of the Dashboard Component.

Description

The Description field stores the description of the Dashboard Component.

Category

The Category field lists the Dashboard Components Category. This field links to the Dashboard Component Categories service.

Assembly Name

The .NET assembly that defines the Dashboard Component.

Object

The Object field identifies the Object Repository Object that defines the Dashboard Component.

Class

Class within the object selected in the Object field that defines the Dashboard Component.

Prop Page Assembly Name

The name of the .NET assembly that configures the interface that appears on the Properties tab when you select a component in a parts record. If there are no properties for the selected component, the input map displays on the Properties tab.

Prop Page Object

The location of the Prop Page object in the Aptify Object Repository.

Prop Page Class

The name of the class in the Prop Page assembly that implements the control.

Comments

Specify any comments relevant to the Dashboard Components record.

License

License key required to run the dashboard component, if applicable.

Property Page License

License key required to load the components Property Page, if applicable.

Input Properties Tab

Input properties are methods by which the certain properties of the component may be modified at the Dashboard Parts record level. This tab lists all Input Properties records associated with the component. See About the Input Properties Form for information on the Input Properties sub-type form.

UI Platforms Tab

This tab, added in Aptify 5.5.1 to support the web interface.

UI Platform

The platform where the dashboard is available.

UI Part ID

The UI part for this dashboard, typically a container (which includes the visual and functional elements of the dashboard).

Web Tab

Web Assembly Name

The .NET assembly that defines the Dashboard Component for Web Access.

Web Object

The Object field identifies the Object Repository Object that defines the Dashboard Component for WebAccess.

Web Class

Class within the object selected in the Object field that defines the Dashboard Component for WebAccess.

License

License key required to run the dashboard component using Web Access, if applicable.
